The following days 21-22 of June 2018 will be held in Nantes (France), the annual seminar of the Observatory of Seafarers' rights relative to the welfare and protection of the seafarers. In particular, the issues wich will be dealt in it and  discussed are relating to the reception of seafarers in scale, as well as the wage guarantees of seafarers in the face of abandonment.

The first seminar of the Maritime Work Watch (MWW) Research Network was held the 13th September and the IX ECLMR, which in turn took place on 14h 15th September at Bilbao, were celebrated successfully, gathering more than 100 Maritime Law professionals and Researchers at Bizkaia Aretoa- Conference Center of the University of the Basque Country.

Next 13th September will be held the First Seminar MWW-Maritime Work Watch: Overview of Current Issues and future challenges in Maritime Labour Law in the Bizkaia Aretoa Congress Center (Abandoibarra Avenue, 3) at Bilbao (Spain).  In this event, different maritime labour law experts will analyse the labour and social conditions of workers that carry out their work at Sea. Three panels have been preview: The first panel dedicated to the Seafarers working and living conditions; The Second Panel about the Fishermen labour regulation in a globalized world and finally, in the third panel, different researchers will reflect about the situation of Dockers; workers in offshore platforms or in Yachting.  The seminar close with the participation of young researchers presenting papers about different issues related to the Seminar’s subject.
