Associate professor in Nautical sciences and Marine engineering at the University of A Coruña (Member of teaching staff). Before working at the University, she worked for some years on board. Her last professional qualification is Shipmaster. In this sense, she has practical experience that shares with a great theoretical background about seafarers’ living and working conditions. She has written several articles and participates in different research projects related to her expertise field: maritime labour and women seafarers.
