Labour and social security law senior lecturer at the University of Nantes (France). Prof. Mandin is expert in Sport law as demonstrated in his CV. This expertise has gave him the opportunity to study the situation of workers on pleasure ships, ferries and other types of vessels in which they perform their activities on board but they are not seafarers if we use the traditional notion that has been changed in the MLC 2006. He teaches in different Masters at the University of Nantes and he is, since January 2017, the Director of the Oceanic and Maritime law Center at the same University.
