An interesting new book: Seafarers: an international labour market in perspective

​​The book considers the changes in work on board merchant ships after the adoption of the MLC 2006, ILO. It has been coordinated and directed by Prof. Patrick Chaumette in the context of the first Workpackage of the European ERC Advanced Grant research program titled "Human Sea" (ERC Advanced Grant Nº 340770) which is developping at the University of Nantes (France) from 2013.
