MWW brings together the efforts of international researchers who study the living and working conditions of different workers, which perform their labour activities at sea.

Maritime Work Watch / MWW is an exciting new academic project, which has developed out of collaboration between a group of researchers with a shared interest in maritime labour. As experts in labour law we have spent much of our careers analysing the living and working conditions of seafarers and other groups working in a maritime context. Over time, we have become aware of the need to launch an initiative of this kind and submit it to the international community with a view to drawing together all the different research being carried out in this field within a single network.
